Details:
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Diane Lum has been singing since childhood.
In June 1994, she formed the alternative rock band, Six Digit Fix, and after being together for only a month, they recorded their first demo.
"I Fucked Up," written by Diane when she was only 19, was selected to appear on the CJSW / Crybaby Records compilation, ''Play: 28 Tunes That Say Howdy!'' From there, things skyrocketed for the group.
They were semi-finalists in the Garage Warz competition in March 1995 and just a month later, appeared on Shaw Cable''s "Mobile Music Machine."
Two days after their televison performance, their debut self-titled tape was released. Six Digit Fix had achieved headlining status and was a regular "fix" at local clubs.
Now, Diane has recorded her first solo CD - a collection of thought-provoking, and at times, controversial songs that tell it like it is.
